Invitation to contribute to the International Delphi Survey on Selective Decontamination of the Digestive Tract (SDD), Toronto
Our team at the University of Toronto have been studying the implementation and uptake of selective decontamination of the digestive tract (SDD) in intensive care. The next stage of our multi-faceted research program involves re-conducting a Delphi survey about perspectives on the practice of SDD, the current evidence base and future implementation in Intensive Care Units around the world. The original Delphi was conducted back in 2013 (Cuthbertson et al; Critical Care 2013) and since then the evidence and learnings about SDD have moved significantly, so we would like to do a more current temperature check of international provider perspectives as we plan for future implementation research. Please use the link below to contribute your thoughts on the use of SDD in intensive care context. We welcome anyone who works in intensive care to participate. If this is your first participation in a survey via Welphi, you will be asked to create a new password to access this survey. This allows you to leave and return to the survey if needed, however the survey itself is anonymous - we cannot connect your login with the survey responses. The SDD survey has REB approval and takes about 15 minutes to complete.
